   I would recomend using Lufthansa via Frankfurt. Cheaper flight and I am sure they have better service than KLM at least.

   Aeromexico airline flies from Paris direct to Mexico City. Another possible connection is via Madrid. This airline is quite good and well known for its punctuality. I believe they have daily flights and if you fly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday, fees are lower.

   You can get direct flights to Mexico City from Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid and Paris. All of these gateways plus a handful in the US will get you here.

   You may want to check airmadrid.com they usually have quite cheap fares from Madrid into Toluca airport (30 mi. from Mexico City). Only thing is they have only 2X/week frequency. The others are daily (and even twice daily) except BA from LHR which is 4X weekly I believe.

   Alternatively I just got a promotion from LH for US$540 r/t. This I got for MEX-FRA-MEX, I don’t know if it applies for FRA-MEX-FRA as well.

   To use a US gateway try New York (if Tarom or an American carrier flies direct). There are about 4 direct flites from JFK to MEX and 2 or 3 from EWR.
