November through March is best.

I’m going to assume you are concerned about having sunny skies everyday? Probably the traditional tourist “High season” November - March. I prefer to be there in the summer or January - early April

I live in Jalisco near Guadalajara. The rainy season is June through October. Everything is beautiful and green and lush but it rains nearly every day for an hour or two. The rain cools off the temperatures so it is usually mid-80’s to 60’s in the evening. November through March is cooler, especially in the evening. It is 70’s to 80’s and can get down to the 40’s at night. April through early June are much warmer and quite dry. It is in the 90’s during the day, with evenings in the 60’s and 70’s.
Figure the beaches like Puerto Vallarta are at least 5 degrees warmer.
Best time? Depends on what you like. Near Lake Chapala we call it Eternal Spring and figure any time is good.

Any time! lol
Probably the best time to go is February to April. Try to avoid Easter Week (which changes every year) as it is party/holiday time for Mexicans.
We travel to Mazatlan, Sinaloa every year. Sometimes it is a little cool in January. Guadalajara, Jalsico gets cold at night.

Hi there, I’ve lived in the state of Jalisco for close to 5 years now and it’s a great place to come visit! You will surely love it and frankly it’s one the best parts of Mexico to experience.
As far as the weather, you don’t have a whole lot to worry about as Jalisco in particular is very moderate all year round. In the winter months the most I’ve ever had to put on is a light sweater. I brought my heavy coat down here once from the US and put it on only once and it was too hot, so I took it back, lol.
I will tell you that my least favorite months here in regards to the weather are from late February - May. During this time it gets very dry and (for me) it is too hot. It is the warmest time of the year and gets up to about 90 F during the day and down to about 60 F at night. In Jalisco inland, where I live, Air Conditioning is not commonplace because they generally just don’t need it.. but it does make this time of year rough for me because of the heat. Jalisco doesn’t have a whole lot of humidity (unless you visit Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific Coast or thereabouts), so the weather just isn’t very extreme in any case. I would say to avoid coming during those months, but it’s more of a personal preference.
My very favorite time of year here is the Summer - Early Fall Months (June - October… Although Fall in Mexico has nothing on the Fall season in the US). This is the wet season here and it rains just about every day, generally at night but there are days where it’ll rain all through the day too. I love the rain and I think it makes everything so much nicer because it isn’t as hot and the rain clears out all of the pollution, leaving the air clean and crisp every day. So just as my personal preference I would recommend that you come mid-summer, but remember that the weather won’t cause you many issues here in Jalisco.
Have a Great Trip!
