Head for your nearest bookstore or library and browse the travel guides on New Mexico to find things that particularly interest you. This can depend on exactly when you’re going depending on what interesting festivals or exhibitions may be going on. You can also try sites like: or or .
My US home is in Colorado, not so far from New Mexico. Some of the places I particularly like are: Chaco Canyon - , the Enchanted Circle Drive, Taos, Old Town Albuquerque, and the Petroglyph monument
