In 20 years the growth rates of USA and Mexico will be the same. By the year 2050, the census department predicts that the growth rate of USA will be triple that of Mexico. However, that same $20,000 a year in the US could very well qualify you for welfare or other government programs. This is why the rich (or even smart money savers) move to Mexico and stay.
