Puerto Vallarta is beautiful, when I went I did not have a child so I do not know if they have Nestle Goodstart, but I did go to the local grocery store and they had mostly mexican brand things, which made sense since we were in Mexico. Some Items have the same name, but are manufactured there instead of here. My advice would be to buy the powdered form, there is no problem with you taking that on the plane espiecially if it is in your checked luggage. You can also try and inquire with Nestle their number is on the can, and if you do not belong to it as of yet you can sign up for coupons, my daughter also used the goodstart and I loved the coupons. Have a nice trip.
